Capt. Ross Finlayson & Andy Dow on Top Shot released an 1,100 lbs. Black Marlin. The fish was caught by angler Masahi Habuka and was on 50 lbs. line. This is the 1st Grander released on the Great Barrier Reef for 2016.

Capt. Louis Sougne and Lionel Duffy on Nola put angler Antti Hokkanen on a 1,100 lbs. Blue Marlin. The fish took a Bonze Violator and took 45-Minutes to get to the boat. This is the 2nd Grander for the Azores in 2016

Capt. Zezito Tavares on Hemingway released an 1,100 lbs. Blue Marlin. . This is the 2nd for Capt. Taveres in the Cape Verdes after weighing an 1,104 earlier this year. This is the 4th Grander caught in the Cape Verdes in 2015

Blue Marlin Lobito, Angola

Angler Kevin Jongschaap on Tudo Fish caught the fish of hie lifetime, releasing an estimated 1,100 lbs. Blue Marlin. This is only the 2nd Grander caught in these waters. The fish was caught on bait-and-switch using an 8” Moldraft Chugger with a Horse Ballyhoo. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes to get her to the boat on 80# tackle. You will notice that she is bill-less, the first we have seen on a Blue Marlin over 1,000 lbs.
