There was a long period of time between our 3rd Grander of the Year and our 4th, but we will take it. Angler Brendan Bernard caught a 1,005.9 lbs. Blue Marlin, while fishing on the Predator skippered by Brendan Farfan. Fish was caught on a Black Bart Blue & White Marlin Candy. Joining Brendan as part of Team Predator was Peter Reid on the leader, Michael Rostand on the gaff and Simon Brendan working the deck. It took two and a half hours to get her boatside.They were fishing in the Tobago International Gamefishing Tournament, which of course they won!
Blue Marlin Oahu, Hawaii
The KAMANU KAI with Ms. Gerry Ho at the helm was outside of the town of Kahuku on Oahu's windward coast when a huge marlin swallowed a lure in their wake. The fish was fought by Vivian Kekahuna and Larry Ho for 11/2 hours using a Penn International 130ST.
