What a day for Captain Antonio “Tuba” Amaral on the Wahoo. Not only did he produce the 2nd Grander of 2012, he went 4 of 7 on Blue Marlin releasing a 250, 500, 700 and the 1,000+. One of the finest big fish days on Blue Marlin we have heard in a year. This is Tuba’s 2nd Grander of the Season as well

Capt. Tim Dean on the Calypso has done it again, with a beauty of a black marlin. While fishing on the No. 10 Ribbon Reef, Capt. Tim released a Grander Black Marlin well over the 1,000 lbs mark. This is the 9th Grander of the season on the Great Barrier Reef and the 2nd for Capt. Tim this season

Capt. Bob Jones on Iceman released a 1,000 lbs Black Marlin. On the same day, Capt. Dean Beech and crew released a 950 lbs black marlin as well. Looks like the big girls are biting again. This is the 8th Grander on the GBR for the 2011 season
