23rd Grander of the Year – Cairns, Australia – Capt. Brett Alty on Mistress released a black marlin he called 1,200 and one of the largest he has seen on the reef. The fish was on for just under 3 Hours, fishing 75 lbs. of drag. She came to the wire four times, but did not jump much, so this was the best picture that was captured. She was so un-impressed with the drag pressure, that she headed over to tuna school and tried to feed.
