Cape Verdes – We have our 4th Grander of the Year and 2nd Grander from the Cape Verdes. Angler Heiko Steinmetz weighed a 1,234 lbs. Blue Marlin on the Black Marlin. He and his crew Dika Cosme and Johnny got the fish in in 2 1/2 hours but had to fight the fish from a dead boat part of the fight as they had engine issues.
This is the 13th Largest Blue Marlin weighed in the Atlantic. This is also the 3rd Grander Blue Marlin for Heiko Steinmetz.
