Madeira – We have our 5th Grander of the Year and no surprise it came from Madeira. Within the last week, Capt. Gerard “Frothy” de Silva and Team Pesca Grossa have won the World Cup, released four (4) Blue Marlin over 500 lbs in a Day and now his 1st Grander as Captain. They measured the fish with a 141” Short and a 77” Girth (1,050 lbs) and then released her in good condition.
Fish took a Bomboy Lure and fought for 48-Minutes. They got her to the leader within 30-Minutes, but they had to dump the leader five times.
