Cairns, Australia – Moana III while fishing on the Opal Ridge, successfully tagged and released this magnificent 1,200 lbs. Black Marlin. Capt. Daniel McCarthy tell us that the fish was fought for just 15-Minutes by Kiwi angler Douglas Perry. Turns out Mr. Perry is VERY lucky as this was his first marlin!
Crewman Roger Kuhnel placed the satellite tag in the fish with assistance from wireman Jason Legg.
