Cape Verdes – Capt. Berno Niebuhr on the Happy Hooker has done it again. He weighed a 1,065 lbs Blue Marlin in the Cape Verdes. Many of you will remember that Capt. Bruno won last years World Cup with a 1,097 lbs fish.
* We have received word that it was actually Capt. Jose at the helm, not Capt. Berno. This is the 9th Grander for the Happy Hooker in 14-Years fishing in the Cape Verde Islands. Fish was caught on a Big Smoker lure.
Angler was Martin Fuchs.
This is the 4th Grander Marlin of 2011 and the 2nd Grander for the Cape Verde Islands.
