GBR, Australia – We’ve got reports from Australia that the 21st grander of 2010 – and eighth on the reef this season – was caught on board the Shaka. The fish went almost 1,100 pounds and followed a really big girl that pushed the mark earlier in the day. Awaiting some photos of this one…but well done to Capt. Jared Weir!
The last few days have seen a huge number of large fish on the reef. As we’re about halfway through the season, there’s a ways to go to catch last season’s results – some 36 granders – but the pace is definitely picking up!
